The Cancer of Capitalism

I shall be most amazed if any of the analysis points to the true and systemic causes of climate change. in the same vein of avoiding the real issues, Stieglitz was on the Today prog this morning bemoaning inequality and even suggesting that he is hearing murmurs of guillotines – and yet despite his castigation of large corporations, he still said nothing about the system that is causing all the ailments.

If someone has cancer throughout their body, you can do all the witch doctoring or surgery or yoga or praying you like but the cancer will keep coming back until you recognise what is causing the
cancer and help the body prevent it. the cancer metaphor is particularly apt since it is essentially uncontrolled growth and/or growth of the wrong sort.
